Description :

Innoquest is looking for a Senior Wordpress -Web Developer in PHP including templating, short codes, and custom block development.

Mandatory :

- 5 to 10 years into HTML, CSS (Responsive Design), and JavaScript/jQuery.

- Highly competent in PHP for WordPress, including templating, shortcodes, and custom block development, with backend landing pages integration.

Roles & Responsibility :

JIRA Expertise :

- Proficient in analysing and interpreting JIRA tickets to deliver effective solutions, ensuring amendments are executed with precision, reliability, and adherence to project requirements.

Development & Maintenance :

- Maintain responsive websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/jQuery.

- Collaborate with the design and UX teams to ensure the seamless integration of visual and functional elements.

WordPress Specialization :

- Develop custom WordPress themes (classic, hybrid), plugins, and blocks to meet specific project requirements.

Architecture Management :

- Implement complex content structures, including Custom Post Types, Custom Taxonomies, shortcodes, and dynamic looping mechanisms.

Workflow & Collaboration :

- Manage code repositories via GitHub and execute tasks independently from Jira boards.

- Comfortable reporting progress to colleagues across multiple disciplines.

- Responsible for independently completing work in prescribed timescales. Flag issues as they arise to project colleagues.

Quality Assurance :

- Proactively test your work for usability, cross-browser compatibility, and WCAG accessibility standards.

Performance Optimization :

- Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure optimal performance across all devices.

- Conduct regular website updates and content management tasks.

- Stay up to date with the latest web development trends, technologies, and best practices.
