We are looking for a Senior VMware Automation Consultant with strong hands-on experience in VMware Aria Automation / vRealize Automation (vRA) and Aria Automation Orchestrator (vRO).

The consultant will be responsible for designing, developing and delivering end-to-end automation solutions across the VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack. The role involves automation workflow development, infrastructure provisioning, API integrations and operational automation for a large enterprise banking environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop and implement automation solutions using VMware Aria Automation / vRA.

- Develop and maintain automation workflows using Aria Automation Orchestrator (vRO).

- Build automation blueprints for VM and infrastructure provisioning.

- Develop workflows using Python, PowerShell, YAML/JSON and VMware automation tools.

- Configure self-service catalogs, approval workflows, policies and entitlements.

- Integrate Aria Automation with vSphere, NSX, vSAN and VCF Operations.

- Develop REST API/API-driven integrations with external systems.

- Integrate automation solutions with CI/CD, CMDB and ITSM platforms.

- Troubleshoot automation workflows, blueprint failures and integration issues.

- Optimize automation and provisioning processes.

- Work closely with architects and customer stakeholders to translate requirements into automation solutions.

- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks and knowledge-transfer materials.

- Provide technical guidance and follow enterprise automation best practices.

Required Skills :

- 5+ years of VMware delivery experience, preferably with a focus on automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with VMware Aria Automation / vRealize Automation (vRA).

- Strong hands-on experience with Aria Automation Orchestrator / vRealize Orchestrator (vRO).

- Strong scripting experience in Python and/or PowerShell.

- Experience with REST APIs and API integrations.

- Experience developing automation workflows and blueprints.

- Good understanding of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF).

- Strong knowledge of vSphere.

- Exposure to NSX and vSAN.

- Experience with YAML/JSON cloud templates.

- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

- Experience with at least one hybrid cloud platform : AWS, Azure or GCP.

- Customer-facing / Professional Services / Consulting experience.

Good to Have :

- VCF 5.2+ experience and exposure to VCF 9.

- CI/CD integration experience with Jenkins, GitLab or GitHub.

- CMDB / ITSM integration experience.

- VMware Aria Automation certifications.

- VMware Cloud Foundation certification.
