What You'll Be Doing :

As a Senior Tableau Developer, you will be a key player in our analytics team, responsible for delivering high-impact data visualization solutions.

Your core responsibilities will include :

- Dashboard & Report Development : Design, develop, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations that meet complex business requirements and provide clear, actionable insights.

- Data Source Optimization : Connect to, prepare, and optimize various data sources (databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms) for efficient use within Tableau, ensuring data accuracy and performance.

- Performance Tuning : Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in Tableau workbooks and data sources, applying best practices for optimization.

- Requirements Gathering : Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other teams to understand reporting needs, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure solutions align with business objectives.

- Data Governance & Best Practices : Promote and enforce Tableau best practices, governance standards, and data visualization principles to ensure consistency, usability, and data integrity.

- Technical Mentorship : Provide guidance and support to junior developers and business users, fostering their understanding and adoption of Tableau.

- Solution Deployment & Support : Manage the deployment of Tableau content to production environments and provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements.

What You Must Have :

- 6-10 years of professional experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar data visualization role.

- Expert-level proficiency in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server/Cloud, including advanced calculations, parameters, sets, LOD expressions, and complex dashboard design.

- Strong experience in connecting to and working with diverse data sources, such as SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL), data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), and cloud platforms.

- Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis to support Tableau development.

- Proven ability to optimize Tableau dashboard performance and troubleshoot complex issues.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail and data accuracy.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively gather requirements and present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Extra Credit For :

- Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik Sense) or data visualization libraries.

- Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.

- Experience with Python or R for data manipulation or statistical analysis.

- Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
