Senior Tableau Developer - Alteryx

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Tableau Developer to design, build, and optimize enterprise-grade

dashboards and reporting solutions. This role will partner closely with business, analytics, and engineering teams to deliver high-impact visualizations that support data-driven decision-making, especially within banking operations and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and enhance advanced Tableau dashboards, visualizations, and analytical reports to support

operational insights and compliance reporting.

- Implement best practices in data storytelling, UI/UX visualization standards, and KPI reporting.

- Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and domain experts to gather and translate

reporting needs into effective dashboard solutions.

- Conduct requirement analysis, feasibility assessments, and data validation sessions.

- Build and optimize data models, calculated fields, LOD expressions, and complex joins for accurate reporting.

- Ensure optimal dashboard performance through best practices in data extraction, query optimization, and caching.

- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of the data displayed in dashboards.

- Implement proper row-level security (RLS), permissions, and compliance controls tailored to banking regulatory standards.

- Create documentation and maintain governance around data sources, workbooks, and reporting logic.

- Manage Tableau Server/Cloud deployments, publishing workflows, version control, and performance tuning.

- Collaborate with data engineering teams to improve data pipelines, ETL feeds, and SQL queries supporting Tableau dashboards.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 6-8 years of experience as a Tableau Developer / BI Developer with strong hands-on expertise in :

- Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud

- Data modeling and complex visual analytics

- LOD expressions, parameters, custom calculations

- Performance tuning and optimization

- Strong SQL skills for querying, validating, and transforming data from relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, etc.).

- Experience working with large datasets, data warehouses, and OLAP environments.

- Exposure to banking, financial services, risk management, or regulatory reporting is highly preferred.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, Alteryx, etc.).

- Knowledge of Python for data prep or automation.

- Hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Exposure to BI governance frameworks and metadata management.
