About the Job :

Your Role :

This is a Senior System Architect CPQ position requiring 8+ years of experience, based in Pune, India. We are looking for a Senior System Architect for the Flamingo platform, who will drive key initiatives from the ideation phase through to development and product delivery.

Responsibilities :

- Be an integral part of the team that analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and supports the CPQ (Configure Price Quote) application of Telekom Deutschland for the business customer segment.

- Collaborate with developers, program managers, QA, and DevOps engineers in an agile development environment.

- Make architectural decisions regarding which components of the Flamingo architecture are used to implement functional and non-functional requirements:

- Using the administrative web interface of SAP CPQ

- Through frontend technologies such as JavaScript, DHTML, and CSS

- Backend development in Iron Python

- Implementation of microservices in addition to SAP CPQ

- Define how requirements should be implemented in line with architectural guidelines and decisions.

- Supervise and guide developers in implementing requirements.

- Support developers in configuration, customization, and programming within SAP CPQ.

- Contribute to the development of microservices on the Telekom platform (AWS), e.g., for inventory queries or automated order breakdowns, enabling SAP CPQ to interact with partner applications.

Your Profile :

We are seeking a Senior System Architect CPQ with extensive software development experience, strong technical expertise in Python and web development, and hands-on experience in CPQ software implementation.

Must-Have Qualifications :

- 5 to 7 years of project experience as a software developer

- Expert-level proficiency in Python programming

- Expert knowledge of web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)

- Strong knowledge of Java in an OpenShift/Kubernetes environment

- Strong knowledge of Java Spring Boot framework

- Experience in service implementation

- Previous experience in implementation, configuration, and customization of CPQ standard software products, preferably SAP CPQ (Callidus)

- Strong understanding of Continuous Deployment / Continuous Integration (CD/CI) in an agile development environment

- More than 8 years of total professional experience
