Senior Software Engineer - React.js/Node.js/Java

About the job :

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products.

Duties :

- Designs, Develops and Deploys the work needed to implement functionality from the product backlog

- Determines the size of user stories.

- Creates Automated Unit-tests, Integration tests and automated test scripts and executes all other testing-related tasks against a user story's acceptance criteria.

- Executes necessary documentation, as directed, or needed.

- Works closely with other team members to ensure that features meet business needs;

- Works collaboratively with infrastructure, security and other partners to resolve integrations needs.

- Communicates progress to various stakeholders as part of the Scrum Ceremonies.

- Provides help with process/system break/fix support and helps implement critical process/system enhancements of high complexity

Required Skills/Experience :

- Experience in FULL Stack development technologies like Microservices, React JS, Node JS/JAVA J2EE etc. - 3+ years

- Experience in Cloud/AWS Technologies with Lambda's, AWS API Gateways - 1+ years

- Knowledge of engineering practices like TDD, DevOps, Software automation, CI/CD - 1+ years

- Knowledge of security frameworks, authentication and authorization schemes - 1+ years

- Experience in performance tuning and scaling applications - 1+ years

- Proficient in interpersonal communication, collaboration and building working relationships

- Demonstrates strong teamwork, and influencing skills to drive practices within team

Desired Skills/Experience :

- Understanding of Agile and XP practices

- Degree in Information Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent) e.g. B.E. / BTech or equivalent
