Job Description :

We are seeking a seasoned Tech Owner (Java) with a strong background in Core Java, AWS, and Performance Engineering to work on critical banking modules.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership, coordination with multiple internal and external stakeholders, and active ownership of APIs and solutioning.

Core Technical Skills Required :

- Strong in Core Java (preferably Java 17) with a solid understanding of modern concepts.

- Proficient with Spring Boot, JSON, XML, YAML configurations.

- Deep understanding of REST API architecture, with focus on Security, Performance, Logging, and Error Handling.

- Experience with tools such as Postman, Swagger, ELK (Elastic Stack), AWS CloudWatch.

- Hands-on with Deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and networking basics.

- Proven AWS Cloud exposure (EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.) is mandatory.

- Good knowledge of relational databases and ability to write optimized SQL queries.

- Experience in handling application performance tuning and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities :

- Act as the Technical SME for the assigned EPIC and drive solution discussions.

- Review and approve designs and user stories with a focus on performance, security, and NFRs.

- Lead technical conversations with OBP, product processors, and interfacing platforms.

- Drive service discovery, troubleshooting, and clarification of technical blockers.

- Work alongside squads, Enterprise Architects, and Engineering Managers on overall solutioning.

- Track and resolve technical impediments, and coordinate across pods and teams.

- Ensure accurate API documentation and maintain knowledge repositories.

- Escalate unresolved technical issues to program managers where required.
