JD :

The Senior Software Engineer I is responsible for developing high-quality, innovative, fully performing software in compliance with coding standards. This individual works in partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure that software deliverables, including designs, codes, and tests, are completed in a timely manner, while remaining aligned with industry and organizational standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

- Provides support to the Engineering teams, with a high attention to detail.

- Researches, analyzes, and documents findings.

- May influence others within the Software Engineering team through the explanation of facts, policies, and practices.

- Designs, builds, and maintains large-scale production services, web applications, data pipelines, and streaming systems.

- Works on systems critical to companys current and future operations.

- Debugs production issues across services and multiple levels of the stack.

- Assists with improvement of organizational engineering standards, tooling, and processes.

- Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, and certification of software.

- Evaluates codes to ensure validity, proper structure, alignment with industry standards, and compatibility with operating systems.

- Maintains an understanding of current technologies or programming practices through continuing education, reading or participation in professional conferences, workshops, and/or groups.

Technical Skills :

- .NET Development (Advanced) : Designing, developing, and deploying applications using the .NET framework.

- ReactJS.

- Object-Oriented Programming & Design : Strong OOP concepts, design patterns, and clean architecture principles.

- Relational Database Expertise : Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, query optimization, and schema design.

- Git Version Control : Branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative workflows.

- General Software Engineering : Debugging production issues, building and maintaining scalable systems, writing clean, standards-compliant code, and testing and code validation.

Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required :

- Advanced .NET Engineering : Proficient in designing, developing, and deploying robust applications utilizing the .NET Framework ecosystem.

- Object-Oriented Design (OOD) : Demonstrated expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, design patterns, and clean architecture practices.

- Relational Database Management : Strong hands-on experience with relational databases, featuring advanced proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server (including query optimization and schema design).

- Practical exposure to client-side technologies, specifically React, backed by a solid understanding of JavaScript and build tools such as Webpack and Babel (highly advantageous).

- Proven experience leveraging Azure DevOps and cloud services for continuous integration and deployment.

- Familiarity or working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and services is considered a distinct advantage.

- Deep understanding of Git-based workflows, including branching strategies, code reviews, and collaborative development.
