Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

About the Role :

We are building enterprise-grade, cloud-native platforms that power critical workforce and business operations at scale. We are looking for a seasoned Full Stack Engineer with strong command of Java-based backends, Angular frontends. You will own end-to-end delivery of product features from database schema to polished UI while leveraging AI-assisted development tools and automation to ship faster and more reliably. You will work closely with product, design, and architecture teams to deliver systems that are robust, observable, and built for scale.

Responsibilities :

- Own the architecture and delivery of full stack features across Angular frontend and Java/Spring Boot backend, from component design through production deployment.

- Turn ambiguous product goals into clear, shippable experiences, working directly with design and product to define flows, edge cases, and rollout plans.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs and service layers, ensuring clean contracts between the UI and backend microservices.

- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot, with PostgreSQL as the primary data store.

- Design data models, write complex SQL queries, and optimize database performance for high-throughput enterprise workloads.

- Adopt and champion AI-assisted development tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot or similar) to accelerate feature development, code reviews, and documentation generation.

- Design and implement automated test suites, unit, integration, and end-to-end, using frameworks such as JUnit, Mockito, Jasmine/Karma, and Playwright; leverage AI tooling to generate and maintain test cases at scale.

- Contribute to product decisions, not just execute them, bringing a point of view on what to build and why.

- Mentor junior engineers and set full stack standards, testing practices, and AI tool usage patterns for the team.

Required Skills :

- Strong experience building production full stack systems, with deep expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Spring MVC), Angular, and PostgreSQL.

- Deep backend fluency: RESTful API design, microservices architecture, dependency injection, and transactional data management with JPA/Hibernate.

- Solid frontend skills in Angular with TypeScript with deep expertise in React and modern frontend architecture.

- Proficiency in PostgreSQL : schema design, query optimization, indexing strategies, and migrations.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks : JUnit 5, Mockito, and AssertJ on the backend; Jasmine, Karma, and Playwright on the frontend.

- Demonstrated experience using AI coding assistants (Claude, GitHub Copilot or equivalent) to increase development velocity and test coverage.

- Ability to write, review, and maintain AI-generated test cases, ensuring they are meaningful, maintainable, and aligned with acceptance criteria - not just coverage-padding.

- Hands-on experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery practices.
