Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable full-stack applications and consumer-facing platforms.

- Build responsive, intuitive, and high-performance web applications.

- Develop robust backend services, APIs, and microservices to support consumer applications.

- Translate product requirements and customer needs into effective technical solutions.

- Participate in architecture, technical design, and system design discussions.

- Develop clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, availability, and security.

- Integrate applications with internal and third-party services through APIs and other integration mechanisms.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis.

- Conduct code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.

- Collaborate with Product, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, Data, and other cross-functional teams.

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and provide technical guidance.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployments, monitoring, and operational excellence.

- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to the technology stack.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 7 - 11 years of professional software engineering experience.

- Strong hands-on experience in full-stack web application development.

- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.

- Strong backend development experience using Java, Python, Node.js, .NET, or similar technologies.

- Experience building RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications.

- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS, responsive design, and modern web development practices.

- Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.

- Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Experience with Git, Docker, CI/CD, automated testing, and monitoring.

- Strong knowledge of software design principles, design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and system design.

- Strong understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and data protection.

- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Consumer Technology Experience:

Experience in consumer-facing products or platforms is highly desirable, including:

- E-commerce and digital commerce

- Customer portals and self-service applications

- Mobile/web consumer experiences

- Customer account and profile management

- Product catalogs and search

- Shopping carts, checkout, and payments

- Loyalty and rewards platforms

- Personalization and recommendations

- Customer notifications and engagement

- Digital marketing and promotions

- Customer analytics and behavioral data

- High-volume, high-availability consumer applications
