Responsible for developing information systems by studying operations, designing, developing, and installing software solutions & providing support. Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, being consistent on delivering systems with excellent software engineering skills.

Main Responsibilities :

- Determine operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, defining problems & requirements, developing systems and proposing solutions for improvements.

- Translate business requirements and objectives into technical applications and solutions.

- Plan, develop and implement large-scale projects from conception to completion.

- Demonstrate solutions by documentations, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and present clean code.

- Understand, evaluate, design, develop and implement complex data models.

- Develop solutions to improve performance and scalability of systems.

- Estimate and deliver tasks in a timely manner meeting tight deadline requirements.

- Experienced in developing and adapting existing business solutions as well as creating new solutions.

- Ensuring source control and change control of development deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills And Experience :

- Excellence in C# .NET

- Strong analytical skills including Strong background in object-oriented programming techniques and best practices (Design patterns, SOLID principles)

- Strong understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its strengths, limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds.

- Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code

- Strong understanding of WCF

- Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)

- Good understanding of async programming and threading

- Excellence in windows forms development

- Good knowledge of MS SQL Server & developing stored procedures using best practices

- Good knowledge of nHibernate ORM.

- Knowledge of SSRS packages

- Knowledge of RDLC, XSLT, JSON, XML

- 5+ years of experience in software development

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail

- Ability to think logically and be proactive.

- Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative in a constructive manner

- Working on multiple projects using strong time management skills and prioritisation of workloads

Qualifications/Accreditations :

- Graduate/Postgraduate in Computer Science

- A minimum of 4 - 6 years of experience as C# or .NET developer.

- Experience of supporting business critical applications and customer facing web applications.

- Knowledge of oil & gas or energy industry (desirable).
