As a Senior Software Development Engineer (SDE 2) at Habuild, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing scalable, highly intuitive product experiences. Responsibilities :

- Strategize, lead, and execute on the product roadmap with speed and precision.

- Collaborate with stakeholders, PMs, QA, and fellow engineers to align development with long-term tech vision.

- Evaluate and recommend solutions, balancing custom development vs off-the-shelf tools.

- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code with a focus on performance and reliability.

- Contribute to raising engineering standards on code quality, system design, and team velocity.

- Maintain clear documentation and improve workflows to drive team efficiency.

- Design and execute testing strategies across devices and browsers in a client-server architecture.

- Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative, growth-oriented engineering culture.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to inform future builds.

Requirements :

- 3+ years of experience in backend software development.

- Strong proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, and AWS.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

- Experience mentoring junior engineers or contributing to team development.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with attention to documentation and clarity.
