CLOUDIT builds financial operations software for accounting and client-advisory teams. Our platform handles bank feeds, transaction categorization, reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, financial reporting, and month-end close - working directly against live client accounting data through integrations with major accounting systems.

In this environment, engineering is not just about building features. The applications we develop process sensitive financial data, integrate with multiple external systems, and need to remain reliable, secure, and performant as they scale.

We are hiring an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to build and own scalable applications across the frontend, backend, APIs, databases, and AI layer. The role will primarily work with Laravel/PHP, while also contributing to React.js, Vue.js, Node.js, and Python services. You will also work with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector search, and AI integrations to build intelligent capabilities into our products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications.

- Develop robust and scalable RESTful APIs and backend services for web applications and third-party integrations.

- Design and optimize MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, queries, schemas, and data models.

- Integrate and manage third-party APIs, external platforms, payment systems, and business applications.

- Develop backend services and integrations using Node.js and/or Python where required.

- Work with AI/LLM-based applications, integrating LLM APIs and AI capabilities into backend systems.

- Develop and integrate RAG workflows, including document ingestion, embeddings, vector search, retrieval, context management, and LLM-based responses.

- Build secure and reliable backend systems for applications handling sensitive financial and client data.

- Optimize application performance through query optimization, caching, debugging, profiling, and code optimization.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural and technical decisions.

- Provide technical guidance to junior and mid-level developers and take ownership of backend features from development through deployment.
