Autonomous technology is moving beyond the streets and into the deep ocean.
Taglynk has partnered with a pioneering deep-tech defense innovator that is building massive, multi-ton autonomous platforms designed to operate for 30+ days in the world's most hostile environments.
We are looking for a visionary Senior Robotics Engineer to architect the entire simulation and digital twin infrastructure from scratch.
Real-world testing in these extreme conditions takes months to plan; your work will be the high-fidelity virtual foundation that accelerates autonomy development 10x.
The Taglynk Talent Experience :
At Taglynk, we don't just match keywords to job descriptions; we bridge world-class engineering pioneers with high-impact, career-defining missions.
As our strategic partners exclusive talent catalyst, we ensure elite candidates experience a streamlined, highly transparent, and sophisticated hiring process from first contact to day-one onboarding.
We specialize in positioning specialized technical minds where their architectural choices directly dictate the future of deep-tech engineering.
What Youll Do :
- Build the Virtual Ocean : Develop high-fidelity marine environment simulations using NVIDIA Isaac (Preferred), Unreal Engine, or Unity, modeling complex ocean currents, buoyancy, and acoustic propagation.
- Hydrodynamics & Physics Modeling : Implement 6-DOF vehicle behavior models including accurate physics-based drag, lift, added mass, and thruster interactions.
- Sensor Simulation : Create hyper-realistic sensor models for sonar (side-scan, multibeam), DVL, LiDAR, cameras, and IMUs, factoring in environmental noise and degradation.
- Digital Twin & Infrastructure : Build comprehensive vehicle digital twins that mirror real-time states and optimize parallel simulation runs for automated regression and Monte Carlo testing.
- Integration : Seamlessly integrate simulation environments with ROS2-based autonomy stacks for robust Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) validation.
What We Are Looking For :
- Background : B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience : 5+ years of deep expertise in physics-based modeling, simulation, or digital twin development for robotics or advanced game engines.
- Code & Math Mastery : Strong production-quality C++ coding skills backed by rock-solid foundations in physics, linear algebra, and numerical methods.
- The Stack : Proficiency with platforms like NVIDIA Isaac / Omniverse, Unreal Engine, or Unity, alongside hands-on ROS/ROS2 integration.
Bonus Points For :
- Expertise in marine/underwater simulation or hydrodynamic modeling.
- Background in GPU-accelerated simulation, real-time rendering, or shader programming.
- Familiarity with underwater sensor physics, sonar simulation, or acoustic modeling.
Why This Role is Different :
- Technical Ownership : You aren't adjusting existing templatesyou are designing a massive testing paradigm from the ground up.
- Elite Compensation : Top-quartile industry benchmarked compensation package, complete with comprehensive family health insurance and premium benefits.
- Leadership Track : As simulation takes center stage in this program, this pivotal role is structured to rapidly evolve into a leadership position.
