Senior QA / QA Lead - EDR/XDR & Cybersecurity

Role Overview:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior QA / QA Lead with strong experience in cybersecurity, EDR/XDR, endpoint security, or agent-based products. The ideal candidate will own QA strategy, automation, testing, and release quality while working closely with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own QA strategy, test plans, quality standards, and release quality gates.

- Lead testing across Windows, Linux, and macOS endpoint agents.

- Drive API, backend, UI, integration, regression, system, and end-to-end testing.

- Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.

- Plan and execute large-scale endpoint and canary testing across 200 - 500+ endpoints.

- Drive CI/CD integration, test automation, defect management, and release readiness.

- Perform debugging, root-cause analysis, and troubleshooting of complex issues.

- Collaborate with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure product quality.

- Mentor and guide QA engineers and establish effective QA processes and standards.

Must-Have Skills:

- 5+ years of experience in QA/testing.

- Strong experience in test automation and QA strategy.

- Experience with endpoint, agent-based, or security products.

- Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, and macOS environments.

- Experience in API, backend, UI, integration, regression, and E2E testing.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD and automated quality gates.

- Strong debugging, RCA, and problem-solving skills.

- Scripting/programming experience with Python, Java, or similar languages.

Good to Have:

- Experience with EDR/XDR and cybersecurity products.

- Exposure to cloud/SaaS environments.

- Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes.

- Experience in performance and reliability testing.

- Exposure to security testing.
