Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior Qlik Developer to lead the design, development, and optimization of Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using Qlik Sense (and/or QlikView). This role requires deep expertise in Qlik scripting, advanced data modeling, performance tuning, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into visually compelling and high-performance analytical dashboards.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Focus :

Qlik Development and Design :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, interactive, and visually compelling Qlik Sense applications, dashboards, and reports, ensuring adherence to data visualization best practices and UI/UX design principles.

- Apply expert-level proficiency in Qlik scripting (Load Script) for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes, utilizing techniques like incremental loads and partitioning.

- Implement complex data analysis logic using Set Analysis, AGGR functions, and advanced expressions to calculate KPIs and measures that provide meaningful business insights.

Data Modeling and Warehousing :

- Design and implement robust and reusable data models (e.g., Star Schema, Snowflake Schema) within the Qlik environment to ensure data integrity, accessibility, and optimal performance of the Qlik Associative Engine.

- Develop and maintain QVD (QlikView Data) and QVX files for efficient data storage and retrieval, ensuring data quality and consistency across BI solutions.

- Proficiently write complex and efficient SQL queries, stored procedures, and views to prepare and manipulate data from various relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL) and data warehouses.

Performance and Optimization :

- Lead the optimization and performance tuning of existing and new Qlik applications, focusing on data model efficiency, script execution time, and front-end rendering speed for large datasets.

- Configure and manage tasks within the Qlik Management Console (QMC), including scheduling data reloads, monitoring reload failures, and managing server performance.

- Implement and manage Section Access and security rules within the Qlik environment to ensure appropriate access control and data governance for different user roles.

Collaboration and Solution Delivery :

- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and domain experts to gather, analyze, and translate complex functional and business requirements into technical specifications and effective BI solutions.

- Perform rigorous unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all developed Qlik applications, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with requirements.

- Provide expert-level support, troubleshooting, and timely resolution for production issues, defects, and data discrepancies within the Qlik platform.

Preferred Skills :

- Qlik Certification (e.g., Qlik Sense Data Architect or Qlik Sense Business Analyst) is highly preferred.

- Strong experience with NPrinting for generating and distributing static, pixel-perfect reports (XLS, PDF, PPT) based on Qlik data.

- Hands-on experience with Qlik Cloud deployment and administration, including familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Exposure to Qlik Extensions, Mashups, and API integration for embedding Qlik content into external web applications.

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and DevOps processes applied to Qlik development.

- In-depth knowledge of broader Business Intelligence architectures and Data Warehousing concepts
