Job Description :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Python Developer to join our development team onsite in Bangalore. This role is suited for a backend engineer with strong technical expertise in Python-based web development, cloud deployment, and team collaboration. The ideal candidate should be confident in leading backend architecture, mentoring junior developers, and contributing to scalable and reliable system design.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop RESTful APIs and real-time data features using WebSockets

- Integrate and manage databases using Django ORM with PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Redis

- Write and maintain unit tests using Pytest and unittest

- Deploy and manage applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines

- Work with AWS cloud services including ECS, Lambda, RDS, S3, and CloudWatch

- Handle large data files (XML/Excel) and perform processing using Pandas, openpyxl, and lxml.etree

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile development cycles including sprint planning,

reviews, and retrospectives

- Mentor junior developers and uphold best coding practices through reviews and technical guidance

Required Skills :

- Experience with Django, FastAPI, Flask, and Django Rest Framework

- Database expertise with PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, and Redis

- Strong understanding of REST APIs and asynchronous programming

- Familiarity with Pytest, unittest, and other testing tools

- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools

- Knowledge of AWS services for cloud deployment

- Competence in data processing using Pandas, NumPy, Celery, Boto3, openpyxl, and lxml.etree

- Proficient in Git, GitHub, JIRA, Postman, and related tools

Preferred Qualities :

- Ability to lead and mentor junior developers

- Experience working in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)

- Clear and effective communication and collaboration skills
