We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Python Backend Developer with extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable backend systems on cloud platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python development, cloud-native architectures, microservices, containerization, and DevOps practices.

This role requires hands-on experience with building robust REST APIs, managing databases, and collaborating in agile, cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend services using Python.

- Architect and implement microservices-based solutions for complex business applications.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs ensuring performance, scalability, and security.

- Build, deploy, and manage applications on Azure Cloud, leveraging AKS (Azure Kubernetes Service) for container orchestration.

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments.

- Work with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases to design and optimize data storage and retrieval.

- Apply best practices for code quality, version control, testing, and documentation.

- Troubleshoot production issues, monitor system performance, and optimize applications for efficiency.

- Mentor junior developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and drive technical excellence in the team.

Mandatory Skills & Expertise :

- Strong Python programming skills with deep understanding of backend development.

- Proven experience with cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure.

- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and AKS for containerized deployments.

- Proficient in Docker for container creation, management, and orchestration.

- Solid experience in microservices architecture and RESTful API development.

- Expertise in CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.

- Strong understanding of SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices, cloud monitoring, and automated scaling.

- Experience in team leadership, mentoring, and code reviews.
