About the role :

This Senior Principal will own the enterprise data and AI architecture end to end - designing the data platforms, MLOps and LLM/agentic infrastructure the organization's AI ambitions will be built on for years to come.

Principal-level technical authority role :

Setting direction and standards across engineering teams, not managing them directly.

What we are looking for :

- 12+ years of progressive experience across data engineering, AI/ML systems and enterprise architecture, with a demonstrated track record of architecting and shipping large-scale, production-grade data and AI platforms.

- Deep expertise across cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), distributed data processing (Spark, Kafka, Airflow or equivalent), vector databases, and LLM orchestration frameworks.

- Strong data governance, security and scalability judgment, and the ability to translate business strategy into technical architecture.

- Establish comprehensive Data Governance frameworks and quality standards to ensure data integrity, security, and compliance across all organizational touchpoints.

- Mentor senior engineering teams and provide technical oversight on Big Data initiatives, ensuring alignment with global best practices and architectural standards.

- Collaborate with executive leadership to define the long-term AI strategy, identifying opportunities for automation and predictive analytics that provide a competitive advantage.

- Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Package and location :

- Package up to SAR 65,000 monthly plus benefits (indicative).

- Candidates already based in Saudi Arabia will be given preference.
