Senior Power BI Developer - DAX/Power Query

Primary Tech Stack (Mandatory) :

- Power BI.

- Microsoft Fabric (One Lake, Lakehouse, Direct Lake mode).

Secondary Tech Stack (Preferred) :

- Dynamics 365 (D365).

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Power BI Developer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Dynamics 365 (D365) as a data source and will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance reports and dashboards on Microsoft Fabric.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Power BI on Microsoft Fabric.

- Integrate and model data from Dynamics 365 and other enterprise systems.

- Optimize data flows, datasets, and semantic models for performance and scalability.

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Implement row-level security, data governance, and compliance standards.

- Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of Power BI reports and datasets.

- Stay current with Microsoft Fabric capabilities and Power BI roadmap.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of experience in Power BI development (mandatory).

- Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 data structures and integration (mandatory).

- Proficiency in DAX, Power Query, and M language.

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including One Lake, Lakehouse, and Direct Lake mode.

- Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.

- Familiarity with Azure services (Data Factory, Synapse, SQL DB) is a plus.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
