Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Senior PHP Developer with strong expertise in Laravel to join our SaaS product engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling high-performance web applications, while mentoring junior developers and contributing to architectural decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable SaaS applications using PHP (Laravel)

- Lead backend architecture, database design, and API development

- Write clean, secure, and well-optimized code following best practices

- Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, and product teams

- Optimize application performance, security, and scalability

- Review code and mentor junior and mid-level developers

- Implement and maintain RESTful APIs and third-party integrations

- Participate in technical planning, estimations, and solution design

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, testing, and documentation

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 8 - 10 years of overall experience in PHP development

- Strong hands-on expertise in Laravel framework (mandatory)

- Experience building and scaling SaaS-based applications

- Solid understanding of MVC architecture, OOP, and design patterns

- Strong experience with MySQL/PostgreSQL and query optimization

- Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and third-party integrations

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes

- Knowledge of security best practices and performance tuning

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
