About the Role :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Network Security Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Palo Alto Firewall, PAN-OS, Panorama, VPN, routing, and enterprise network security.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and securing enterprise network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex connectivity and security issues, supporting firewall migrations, and maintaining highly available security environments.

Key Responsibilities :

Palo Alto Firewall Administration :

- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls in enterprise environments.

- Perform administration and troubleshooting on PAN-OS.

- Manage firewall policies, security rules, NAT policies, zones, objects, and security profiles.

- Administer and monitor multiple firewalls through Panorama.

- Perform firewall upgrades, configuration changes, and health checks.

- Analyze firewall traffic and threat logs to identify security and connectivity issues.

VPN & Network Security :

- Design, configure, and troubleshoot IPSec and SSL VPN solutions.

- Implement network security policies, segmentation, and access controls.

- Work with NAT, IDS/IPS, and security filtering technologies.

- Investigate security events and network connectivity problems.

- Support incident response and resolution for firewall-related issues.

Routing & Network Troubleshooting :

- Troubleshoot complex TCP/IP connectivity issues.

- Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing.

- Analyze routing behavior, packet flows, and firewall logs.

- Collaborate with network and infrastructure teams to resolve production incidents.

Firewall Migration :

- Participate in enterprise firewall migration and transformation projects.

- Support rule and configuration migration using tools such as Palo Alto Expedition.

- Validate firewall policies, NAT rules, objects, and connectivity after migration.

- Identify and remediate migration-related configuration issues.

- Maintain technical documentation and migration records.

Cloud & Hybrid Networking :

- Support Palo Alto firewall deployments across AWS and Azure environments.

- Troubleshoot connectivity between on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

- Apply network security best practices in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
