Job Description :

The Microsoft .NET Developer will join the software development team to develop the client's existing financial systems to improve performance, ease of use, and reduce long term maintenance costs. A successful candidate will be an independent thinker who has a strong aptitude for problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The .NET Developer will be responsible for troubleshooting and debugging complex issues in multi-tier applications.

Responsibilities :

- Maintain and enhance existing back office trade booking and order management systems

- Develop software using C# and other .NET related technologies such as Visual Studio, Entity Framework, xUnit and FluentMigrator.

- Create and maintain unit and integration tests to assist with quality assurance testing

- Troubleshoot and resolve software related issues reported by operations and trading teams

Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of experience with Microsoft .NET / C# development and B.E. in Computer Science/IT/Electronics/Electrical.

- Good experience of developing web pages using MVC framework. Development in Kendo UI, React will be plus.

- Strong aptitude for problem-solving and idea-generation

- Able to work both independently as well as in groups without close supervision

- Detail-oriented with ability to provide accurate estimates and manage expectations

- Motivated individual who can come up to speed and be productive quickly

- Familiar with the software development lifecycle (Agile, TDD, etc.)

- Good understanding of software architecture patterns and OOP design principles

- Capable of writing high quality code while meeting tight deadline
