Network Operations:

Location: Mumbai

Job Purpose:

Ensure reliable and secure network connectivity across corporate office, branches, data centre, cloud, vendors and critical business users.

Scope :

- LAN/WAN

- Routers and switches

- Internet/MPLS/SD-WAN links

- VPN

- Wi-Fi

- DNS/DHCP

- Network monitoring

- ISP/vendor coordination

- Network change governance

Experience :

- 10+ years of relevant experience.

Education / Certifications :

- B.E. or B.Sc. with MCA in Computers, Electronics or E&TC.

Broad Role Parameters :

- Vendor governance and network projects.

Essential Experience :

- Hands-on experience in routing and switching.

- WAN or link troubleshooting.

- VPN and basic network monitoring in a medium or large enterprise environment.

- Ability to coordinate with ISP/OEM/vendor teams.

- Maintain network diagrams and inventory.

- Follow incident and change management processes.

- Equivalent experience across comparable network OEMs may be considered.

Preferred Experience :

- Relevant certification or equivalent hands-on exposure.

- Experience with Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Check Point, Juniper, SD-WAN or NAC.

- Branch network experience.

- BFSI, regulated enterprise or managed services experience preferred.

Governance & Control Expectations :

- Change approvals.

- Configuration backup.

- Time synchronization.

- Device logs.

- Third-party connectivity evidence.

- DR link testing.

- Access/firewall request traceability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Monitor network availability, latency, utilization and alerts across corporate office, branches, data centre and cloud connectivity.

- Own network incidents, problem analysis, change requests and root cause closure for recurring connectivity issues.

- Maintain network diagrams, link inventory, device inventory, configuration backups and escalation contacts.

- Support branch rollouts, office moves, DR connectivity, cloud connectivity and critical business-hour support.

- Coordinate with Security Operations on firewall rule hygiene, network segmentation, vulnerability closure and log availability.

- Prepare monthly network dashboards covering uptime, incidents, changes, capacity and vendor performance.
