Key Responsibilities :

- Architectural Leadership : Design and develop scalable, high-performance applications using the Java/JEE stack tailored to specific project needs.

- Mentorship : Lead by example by mentoring junior developers, conducting rigorous code reviews, and elevating the teams overall technical standards.

- Quality Engineering : Establish and maintain a Test-Driven Development (TDD) environment to ensure 24/7 reliability of our software products.

- Integration & Optimization : Interface with diverse software ecosystems and legacy codebases, debugging and improving existing lines to enhance system efficiency.

- Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner directly with customers to define project scope, gather requirements, and translate business challenges into technical solutions.

- Global Mobility : Provide on-site support and expertise at customer locations across the globe as required.

Professional Requirements :

- Experience : 4- 6 years of intensive industry experience in Java development. A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience is required.

- Java Mastery : Expert-level skills in Core Java and the JEE stack (JDBC, JMX, JPA, JMS).

- Frameworks & Scripting : Strong proficiency in Spring, Hibernate, and Groovy development.

- Infrastructure : Hands-on experience with App Servers (Tomcat, WebLogic, JBoss) and a deep understanding of REST APIs.

- Data Management : Proficiency in RDBMS including Oracle, MS SQL Server, and MySQL.

- Domain Expertise : While not required, experience with Terminal Operating Systems (Port Logistics) is a significant advantage.

- Communication : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential for documenting requirements and interacting with global clients.
