Job Title : Senior Java Developer Security & Cryptography

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

- Implement cryptographic algorithms (e.g., AES, RSA, SHA, TLS) following industry standards.

- Apply secure coding techniques and enforce compliance practices to address vulnerabilities

(e.g., OWASP Top 10).

- Align architecture with Core Java and MVC principles, driving best practices across the team.

- Collaborate with DevOps and Architecture teams to implement security-first development

lifecycles.

- Perform code reviews, threat modeling, and support internal security audits.

- Manage SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Cassandra) databases efficiently.

- Document cryptographic processes and mentor junior team members on secure

development.

- Stay updated with evolving cybersecurity threats, standards, and compliance regulations.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Deep knowledge of Java Cryptography Architecture (JCA), Java Security Manager, and encryption standards.

- Proficiency in Core Java, Spring Security, and MVC architecture.

- Experience with OAuth2, JWT, SAML, and secure authentication flows.

- Strong skills in SQL/NoSQL databases including indexing, schema design, and optimization.

- Knowledge of standards like OWASP, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, or NIST.

- Familiarity with Maven/Gradle, Git, and CI/CD tools.

- Exposure to security testing tools like OWASP ZAP, Burp Suite, or Fortify.

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

- Proven ability to work independently and own entire modules end-to-end.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in regulated domains such as finance, banking, or healthcare.

- Understanding of cloud security (AWS/GCP/Azure), container security, and API protection.
