Senior Java Developer - Spring Boot/Microservices Architecture

Experience : 5+ years

Location : Chennai, Trivandrum, Kochi

Notice Period : Immediate to 30 days

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with Product Owners to understand requirements

- Lead requirement gathering and design reviews with stakeholders

- Own backlog items and coordinate feature development

- Conduct technical design/code reviews

- Develop, prototype, and troubleshoot across UI and service layers

- Ensure scalability, code reuse, and adherence to best practices

- Participate in discussions on UX, design, and architecture

- Demo features to stakeholders

- Collaborate with QA on test planning, root cause analysis, and defect resolution

Educational Qualifications :

- Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, IT, or related field

Mandatory Skills :

- Java (5+ years), Spring Boot, Microservices

- REST APIs, Swagger/OpenAPI

- Cloud (GCP/AWS)

- UML, application design, design patterns

- Unit testing (JUnit)

- Agile/Scaled Agile environments

- Tools : Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

- JSON, Web Services

Good-to-Have Skills :

- JavaScript, responsive design, front-end experience

- Cloud-native development

- Experience in financial services/regulated environments

- CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools
