Job Title : Senior Java & Oracle Developer

Experience : 5 - 8 Years

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based enterprise applications using Java 8+.

- Build robust and scalable backend services using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations.

- Implement Microservices-based architecture for distributed systems.

- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices.

Database Development & Optimization :

- Design and develop complex Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers.

- Write optimized SQL queries for high-performance data retrieval.

- Perform database performance tuning using indexing, execution plan analysis, and query optimization.

- Work closely with the database team to ensure data integrity and scalability.

- Handle large datasets and high-volume transaction systems efficiently.

Build & Deployment :

- Manage project dependencies and build lifecycle using Maven.

- Support CI/CD integration and deployment processes.

- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards compliance.

System Integration & Architecture :

- Ensure seamless integration between Java application layer and Oracle backend.

- Design scalable APIs and implement security best practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Business teams.

Technical Skills Required :

Core Skills (Must Have) :

- 5-8 years of experience in Java backend development.

- Strong expertise in Java 8 or above.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and Microservices architecture.

- Experience with Maven for build management.

- Advanced proficiency in Oracle Database & PL/SQL.

- Strong experience in writing :

1. Complex SQL queries

2. Stored Procedures

3. Triggers

4. Functions

5. Packages

- Database performance tuning and query optimization.

Good to Have :

- Experience with Hibernate/JPA.

- Exposure to Docker / Kubernetes.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
