Job Role: IAM Security Architect (Senior).

Experience: 7+ Years.

Design and maintain the security architecture for IAM, ensuring that systems meet robust security standards.

Partner with engineering teams to embed security into solutions from inception to production.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define security architecture standards and reference designs for identity, network, application and infrastructure relevant to IAM.

- Evaluate and recommend security tools, technologies and solutions; drive adoption of next-generation capabilities.

- Review designs, threat models and code for security flaws; guide remediation in IAM.

- Develop secure design patterns specific to IAM.

- Create architecture documentation, diagrams and guidelines; educate teams on security best practices.

- Support incident response with architectural insight and design changes to prevent recurrence.

- Experience with tools used in IAM: Okta B2B Solution, Saviynt: IAM & Governance Renewal, CyberArk, Enterprise PKI (ePKI) Gateway License + Managed SSL Renewal, Microsoft Technologies, Certificate Management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Security, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.

- 7+ years of information security experience with significant time in architect or design roles.

- Deep understanding of security principles across layers.

- Familiarity with architecture frameworks (TOGAF, SABSA) and protocols (OAuth, SAML, Kerberos).

- Hands-on experience with security tooling (WAF, CASB, cloud security posture management, SIEM, etc.).

- Ability to translate high-level security requirements into modular, scalable designs; excellent documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Security certifications such as SABSA, CISSP-ISSAP, TOGAF.

- Exposure to enterprise architecture, microservices and cloud/hybrid environments.

- Experience designing security for regulated industries (finance, healthcare, travel).

- Published thought leadership or speaking at security conferences.
