About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Financial Services team and play a key role in building scalable, high-performance cloud-based applications. You will work across the full technology stack, contribute to architectural decisions, mentor engineers, and help deliver innovative solutions that serve mission-critical business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications across frontend and backend systems.
- Build robust REST APIs and microservices using Python and Node.js technologies.
- Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and product roadmaps.
- Drive engineering best practices, code quality, and system performance.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical guidance to team members.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence within the team.
- Ensure application scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong experience in designing and developing cloud-based software applications.
- Expertise in backend development using Python (FastAPI/Django) and Node.js.
- Strong frontend development experience with React.js and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of scalable system design, distributed architectures, and microservices.
- Hands-on experience with messaging and event-driven systems such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Redis.
- Experience working with databases including MongoDB, SQL databases, and ORM frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of AWS Cloud Services such as S3, IAM, Lambda, and related services.
- Excellent coding, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of software development best practices, testing, and code review processes.
Good to Have:
- Experience in Financial Services, FinTech, or high-transaction platforms.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure automation.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
