Job Description:

We are looking for a Senior Full-stack web application developer to work on expanding Blackstone's Master Data Management team, which serves a large spectrum of users and stakeholders inside and outside of the firm.

As a senior full-stack developer, you will be collaborating with a team of engineers on a variety of components and applications within that space, including web-based front-end applications, RESTful APIs, serverless services running in AWS, CI/CD pipelines, etc.

As a member of the team, you will embrace Blackstone's standards and SDLC methodologies to deliver innovative solutions and maintain existing platforms.

The ideal candidate is curious and can work autonomously through interesting technical challenges while actively collaborating with their team on broader initiatives.

They know how to communicate clearly and efficiently, in person or in writing.

They have experience building and maintaining sophisticated web applications using modern, Cloud-based technologies, and are very comfortable using front-end technologies.

Responsibilities :

- Design and implement front-end using TypeScript/React and back-end software solutions using C#/.NET or Python and Cloud-native components running in AWS.

- Actively look for opportunities to enhance and consolidate the system.

- Document technical changes to the system.

- Implement observability to track performance and alert about issues.

- Enforce code quality by performing code reviews.

- Maintain CI/CD pipelines and use DevOps tools such as Terraform and Jenkins.

- Collaborate with the Product team to collect and refine business requirements.

- Assist the App Support team with reporting and troubleshooting.

- Participate in agile ceremonies.

Mandatory Skills:

- At least 4 years of demonstrable work experience as a Software Developer.

- Meaningful experience building front-end applications using TypeScript and React/Angular.

- Experience with C# and the .NET Framework or Python.

- Experience working with relational databases such as SQL Server.

- Familiarity with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary analysis to implementation, then release.

- Experience working with version control tools such as Git.

- Experience working with Docker and containers is a plus.

- Experience working with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Terraform is a plus.

- Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and maintain existing systems.

- Desire to learn and adapt to new technologies, skills and grow competencies.
