Role & responsibilities :

- Design and develop distributed, high-availability systems in Go, Python, and Node.js

- Contribute to and uphold engineering best practices and coding standards established by the team

- Implement and optimize AWS infrastructure with a focus on scalability, cost, security, and resilience across EKS, OpenShift, and serverless/compute services

- Build and maintain automation pipelines across CI/CD, infrastructure provisioning, testing, and operations

- Participate in technical design reviews and contribute to architecture discussions

- Mentor junior engineers and provide constructive code review feedback

- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

- Contribute to incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term reliability improvements

- Stay current on new tools and technologies and propose adoption where there is clear value

Preferred candidate profile :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

- 5 - 7 years of software engineering experience with meaningful exposure to distributed systems

- Strong proficiency in Go and Python, with working knowledge of Node.js in polyglot service environments

- Hands-on experience with AWS architecture and services, including container orchestration on EKS

- Experience running and operating workloads on Red Hat OpenShift as an enterprise Kubernetes platform

- Experience implementing automation frameworks and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible)

- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals : consistency models, fault tolerance, service mesh, messaging systems (Kafka, SQS/SNS), and data partitioning

- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional and client-facing team settings

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
