Role Overview :

As a Senior ETL Developer based in Chennai, you will play a critical role in architecting and maintaining robust data integration solutions that power our global business operations. You will work closely with data architects, business analysts, and cross-functional engineering teams to transform complex raw data into actionable insights.

By designing scalable ETL pipelines and ensuring the integrity of our data warehousing infrastructure, you will directly influence the efficiency of our decision-making processes and support the company's strategic initiatives in data-driven manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop complex ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center and Informatica IDMC to support large-scale data warehousing requirements.

- Optimize SQL queries and database performance to ensure high-speed data processing and reliable reporting for internal stakeholders.

- Automate data integration tasks and system maintenance processes by developing and deploying efficient Shell scripts.

- Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into high-performance ETL designs that meet stringent data quality and security standards.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production data issues to minimize downtime and ensure the continuous flow of information across enterprise systems.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in designing and implementing end-to-end ETL solutions using Informatica Power Center and Informatica IDMC within complex data environments.

- Advanced proficiency in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for large-scale data warehousing and database management.

- Proven ability to manage system automation and process orchestration using Shell Scripting in Unix/Linux environments.

- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate abstract business needs into technical ETL design specifications.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with global stakeholders and articulate technical concepts to non-technical team members.

- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid office environment in Chennai, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to manage multiple project priorities simultaneously.

- Candidates must possess 4 to 9 years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or ETL development roles.
