Role Overview :

We're looking for an engineering leader with strong B2C product experience and direct involvement in delivering Generative AI projects to join a HealthTech company. The role involves leading engineering teams, shaping technical architecture and delivering scalable, reliable consumer health products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead engineering teams and own delivery, technical quality and team development.

- Partner with product, business and healthcare stakeholders to translate user needs into technology solutions.

- Drive Generative AI initiatives from prototyping through production deployment.

- Guide architecture for consumer applications, backend services and integrations.

- Ensure platform reliability, performance, security and responsible handling of sensitive health data.

- Establish evaluation and monitoring practices for AI features.

- Hire, mentor and develop engineers and engineering managers.

Required Experience :

- Senior Engineering Manager : 10 - 15 years of overall experience, including 3+ years leading engineering teams.

- Director of Engineering : 14 - 18+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years in engineering leadership.

- Strong current or recent experience in a B2C product company, building consumer-facing products at scale.

- Direct involvement in building and delivering Generative AI solutions, beyond using AI coding tools.

- Strong technical depth in system design, backend architecture, APIs, cloud infrastructure and distributed systems.

- Ability to balance engineering priorities with user experience and business outcomes.

Preferred Experience :

- Background in HealthTech, digital health or wellness.

- Generative AI features deployed to production and used by customers.

- Exposure to LLMs, RAG, AI agents and model evaluation.

- For Director-level candidates, experience managing multiple teams or engineering managers.
