About the Role :

As a Senior Engineer - Knowledge Graph, you will play a key role in designing and developing Deloittes Ascend Knowledge Graph Platform, a cloud-native data intelligence solution that transforms structured and unstructured data into a semantic, AI-powered knowledge graph. You will work across data engineering, GenAI enablement, and cloud-native architectures to build scalable, intelligent data platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Python within the Azure ecosystem (Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, AKS)

- Build and manage data ingestion and transformation workflows for structured and unstructured data sources

- Orchestrate data pipelines for seamless integration into graph and relational databases

- Implement GenAI-powered NLP workflows using LangChain and LangGraph for entity and relationship extraction

- Design and manage data models for Neo4j AuraDB and PostgreSQL

- Enable semantic enrichment and graph-based intelligence for enterprise data

- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs (FastAPI/Flask) for data ingestion, querying, and workflow orchestration

- Collaborate with DevOps teams to deploy containerized applications on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

- Implement autoscaling solutions using KEDA for performance and cost optimization

- Ensure robust CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices

- Build and enhance RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines

- Integrate LangGraph workflows with Neo4j Cypher for intelligent querying

- Support automated insight generation and reporting

- Implement security and compliance controls using Azure Defender, Key Vault, and Managed Identities

- Ensure adherence to cloud security and data governance standards

Key Skills and Qualifications :

- 5-6 years of experience in data engineering or related roles

- Strong proficiency in Python and data pipeline development

- Hands-on experience with Azure services (ADF, Azure Functions, AKS)

- Experience with Neo4j (AuraDB) and PostgreSQL

- Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, and GenAI/NLP workflows

- Experience building REST APIs using FastAPI or Flask

- Knowledge of containerization and Kubernetes (AKS)

- Understanding of RAG pipelines and AI-powered retrieval systems

- Experience with CI/CD practices and DevOps integration

- Strong understanding of data security, governance, and compliance

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with knowledge graph architectures and semantic data modeling

- Familiarity with KEDA for autoscaling

- Exposure to enterprise-grade cloud security tools like Azure Defender and Key Vault

- Experience working in large-scale enterprise or consulting environments
