Position : FPGA O-RAN Fronthaul Senior Engineer

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced FPGA O-RAN Fronthaul Senior Engineer with strong expertise in FPGA design and development for wireless/RAN products.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in FPGA logic design, digital signal processing, and O-RAN Fronthaul interface implementation.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and implement FPGA-based solutions for wireless communication and RAN products.

- Develop RTL design using Verilog/VHDL for high-performance FPGA applications.

- Work on O-RAN Fronthaul (FH), FlexRAN, CPRI/eCPRI, and Ethernet interface implementations.

- Perform FPGA simulation, synthesis, timing analysis, and timing closure using industry-standard tools.

- Design and implement DSP algorithms for radio applications within FPGA.

- Work closely with system architects, hardware, and software teams to define and implement design specifications.

- Debug and optimize FPGA designs for performance, power, and area efficiency.

- Support system integration, validation, and troubleshooting activities.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5-15 years of experience in FPGA design and development in a commercial product environment.

- Strong expertise in digital design concepts and hands-on coding experience in Verilog/VHDL.

- Experience with FPGA development tools such as ModelSim, Vivado, and Quartus for simulation, synthesis, and timing closure.

- Hands-on experience in developing and implementing DSP designs for radio applications within FPGA.

- Strong understanding of wireless/RAN protocols and Fronthaul interfaces.

- Good knowledge of CPRI/eCPRI and Ethernet interfaces.

Understanding of signal processing blocks such as :

- Channel Filters

- DUC/DDC

- CFR/DPD

- AGC

- FFT/IFFT

- PRACH, PDSCH, PUSCH

- Beamforming concepts

- Mandatory experience in O-RAN/CPRI interface design and implementation.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in telecom/wireless infrastructure products.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
