Senior Engineer :

We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer to design, integrate, and optimize enterprise communication systems and network infrastructure for large-scale commercial, institutional, industrial, and infrastructure projects at Dar.

The role involves network infrastructure design, system integration, digital engineering, and workflow automation to improve design efficiency, system reliability, and coordination across multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and coordinate enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, wireless networks, structured cabling, and data communication systems.

- Develop technical solutions for IP telephony, IP television, video surveillance, access control, fire alarm, public address, intercom, and master clock systems.

- Prepare network architecture documentation, technical specifications, design drawings, and implementation documents.

- Support the integration of communication systems with enterprise network infrastructure and connected devices.

- Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and project teams to identify requirements, resolve technical challenges, and optimize system performance.

- Develop automated design workflows and computational models to improve engineering productivity and consistency.

- Use Python or similar scripting tools to automate repetitive tasks, process design data, and streamline technical workflows.

- Leverage digital modelling tools such as Revit, Dynamo, and Grasshopper to support design coordination and model-based engineering.

- Review design deliverables to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable standards, and quality requirements.

- Support troubleshooting, technical reviews, system coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 8 - 10 years of experience in telecom, ICT, ELV systems, or network infrastructure design.

- Strong understanding of enterprise networking, LAN/WAN concepts, wireless communication, structured cabling, and IP-based communication systems.

- Experience with network infrastructure planning, system integration, and technical documentation.

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering design tools.

- Working knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for task automation and workflow optimization.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.

- Ability to manage multiple design deliverables and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Familiarity with Python-based data processing and design automation.

- Exposure to digital engineering, model-based coordination, and integrated infrastructure systems.

- Experience working on large-scale commercial, institutional, or infrastructure projects.
