Senior Engineer, Automotive Infotainment Engineer Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Infotainment Engineer to design, develop, and integrate software components for next-generation in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) systems. The engineer will work on multimedia frameworks, connectivity technologies, and system integration to deliver reliable and high-performance infotainment solutions for automotive platforms.

Required Technical Skills:

- Strong programming skills in C/C++

- Experience with embedded systems development

- Familiarity with Linux or QNX or Android based platforms

- Understanding of multimedia frameworks and audio/video streaming

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Knowledge of Miracast, CarPlay, Android Auto and wireless projection technologies

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

- Experience with automotive SoCs (Qualcomm, TI, NXP, Renesas, etc.)

- Experience with system bring-up on new hardware platforms

- Experience with performance optimization and low-level debugging

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop and maintain software components for Automotive Infotainment (IVI) systems

- Perform system bring-up and board initialization on new automotive hardware platforms, work with Board Support Package (BSP) components including bootloader, kernel configuration, device drivers, and middleware

- Integrate and optimize multimedia, connectivity, and system services in the infotainment stack.

- Develop and debug features such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Miracast, audio/video playback, and smartphone connectivity.

- Support system validation, debugging, and issue resolution during development and integration phases.
