Senior Development Engineer - C#/.Net/RESTful API

Job Description

Role Overview :
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Engineer (Development) to join our Common Services team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET Core, and REST API development, along with hands-on experience in AWS serverless technologies. You will play a key role in building scalable, high-performance backend services and integrations that support multiple business platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain highly scalable RESTful APIs using C# and .NET Core

- Build and deploy serverless applications using AWS Lambda

- Develop and optimize API integrations across internal and external systems

- Ensure high performance, security, and reliability of services through optimization and best practices

- Work with PostgreSQL for data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning

- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams

- Participate in code reviews, mentoring junior engineers, and promoting engineering best practices

- Troubleshoot production issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications :


- 5-8 years of experience in backend software development

- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET Core, and REST API design

- Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda and serverless architectures

- Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL and relational database concepts

- Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure provisioning

- Understanding of API performance optimization, caching, and scalability

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

- Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have :


- Experience with microservices architecture

- Exposure to API gateways, monitoring, and logging tools

- Knowledge of cloud security best practices
