Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned Senior Developer specializing in Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS) to join our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining robust identity management solutions that serve as the backbone for our enterprise infrastructure.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional IT teams, security architects, and global stakeholders to ensure seamless authentication and authorization workflows. By optimizing our directory services, you will directly influence the security posture and operational efficiency of our digital ecosystem, ensuring high availability and performance for thousands of end-users across the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement scalable RHDS architectures to support complex enterprise identity and access management (IAM) requirements.
- Automate routine directory maintenance and configuration tasks using scripting languages to reduce manual overhead and minimize human error.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex replication, synchronization, and performance bottlenecks within the LDAP environment to maintain 99.9% uptime.
- Partner with security teams to enforce strict access control policies and audit compliance standards across all directory-integrated applications.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance on best practices for directory schema design and integration strategies.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and optimizing Red Hat Directory Server (RHDS) and LDAP protocols within large-scale Linux/Unix environments.
- Proven ability to design and troubleshoot complex IAM workflows, ensuring secure and efficient user lifecycle management.
- Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration, with a deep understanding of shell scripting and automation tools to streamline infrastructure tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical directory constraints into clear business requirements for non-technical stakeholders.
- Exceptional analytical mindset to diagnose and resolve critical system issues under pressure while maintaining a collaborative team-first approach.
- Ability to thrive in a distributed work environment across locations including Chennai, Kolkata, Hyderabad, Pune, Nagpur, and Karnataka, maintaining high productivity in hybrid or remote setups.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, complemented by a track record of delivering high-impact technical solutions.
