Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Enterprise Data Modeller with strong hands-on expertise in designing and building conceptual, logical, and physical data models for complex enterprise data platforms. The role will support a multi-country education platform covering domains such as Student, Test, Application, Institution, Agent, and Payment on an Azure Databricks Lakehouse.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop conceptual, logical, and physical enterprise data models for complex, multi-domain data platforms.

- Build, publish, and maintain data models using Erwin, ER/Studio, PowerDesigner, or equivalent modelling tools.

- Model complex multi-source and multi-country environments with consideration for data ownership, identity, grain, business rules, and source-system relationships.

- Develop dimensional models, including Star and Snowflake schemas, for analytical and reporting workloads.

- Design and implement Data Vault 2.0 models, including Hubs, Links, and Satellites.

- Define and document business keys, surrogate keys, grain, relationships, hierarchies, and data-quality rules.

- Implement and document Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD), particularly SCD Type 2.

- Develop models aligned with Azure Databricks and Delta Lake architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold data layers.

- Collaborate with Data Architects, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners.

Required Skills :

- 12 - 16 years of experience in Enterprise Data Modelling, Data Architecture, or Data Warehousing.

- Strong hands-on expertise with Erwin, ER/Studio, or PowerDesigner.

- Proven experience with Dimensional Modelling and/or Data Vault 2.0.

- Strong proficiency in SQL.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and Databricks.

- Hands-on understanding of Delta Lake and Medallion Architecture.
