Role & responsibilities :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team and play a key role in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines, data models, and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate is an expert in SQL, Python, data warehousing, and modern data engineering tools with a strong focus on Azure Cloud.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Data Pipeline Development :

- Design, develop, and optimize scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, and custom Python scripts.

2. Cloud Data Solutions :

- Architect and maintain data solutions on Azure Cloud, ensuring high performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

3. Data Warehousing & Analytics :

- Build and manage robust data warehouses and analytics platforms using Snowflake, Databricks, and DBT Cloud to support advanced analytics and business intelligence.

4. Data Modeling & Integration :

- Develop and maintain data models, ensuring data integrity and availability across diverse data sources for downstream analytics.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management :

- Work closely with data analysts, business teams, and other engineers to understand data requirements and deliver solutions that meet organizational needs.

6. Performance & Quality Assurance :

- Optimize SQL queries, ensure data pipeline performance, and implement robust monitoring and alerting systems to maintain data accuracy and reliability.

Qualifications :

Mandatory Skills :

- Proficiency in SQL and Python.

- Expertise with Snowflake, Databricks, DBT Cloud, Apache Airflow, ETL/ELT processes, and Azure Data Factory.

- Strong understanding of data warehousing, analytics, and Azure Cloud architecture.

- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable data systems in a production environment.
