Senior Data Engineer - GCP

Experience : 6 - 8 Years

Location : WFO Hybrid Model 3 days from office (Jaipur, Noida, Pune, Bangalore)

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in GCP, PySpark, SQL, and Python to join our Data Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for developing scalable data solutions, building data pipelines, and leveraging GCP data services to support enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using PySpark, Python, and SQL.

- Develop and optimize data processing solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

- Work with GCP data services for data ingestion, transformation, storage, and processing.

- Perform data transformation, cleansing, validation, and optimization.

- Develop efficient and reusable PySpark and Python-based data processing frameworks.

- Write complex SQL queries and optimize query performance.

- Collaborate with Data Architects, Analysts, and other engineering teams to deliver data solutions.

- Troubleshoot data pipeline and production issues and ensure timely resolution.

- Follow data engineering best practices for performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and documentation.

Required Skills :

- 6 - 8 years of experience in Data Engineering.

- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark.

- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

- Hands-on experience with GCP data services.

- Experience designing and developing scalable data pipelines.

- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data processing.

- Experience working with large datasets and distributed processing environments.

- Good understanding of data engineering best practices.

Preferred :

- Experience with GCP ecosystem and cloud-native data solutions.

- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
