About the Role :

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building scalable data platforms, developing robust ETL pipelines, and managing modern cloud-based data warehousing solutions. This role requires hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Snowflake, dbt, and big data technologies to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance data pipelines and ETL workflows.

- Build and optimize data solutions using Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt.

- Develop and manage enterprise-grade data warehouses and data lakes.

- Implement data transformation, integration, and validation processes to ensure data quality and reliability.

- Work with large-scale datasets using PySpark and distributed computing frameworks.

- Design and optimize data models for analytics, reporting, and machine learning use cases.

- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions.

- Support feature engineering pipelines for machine learning applications.

- Work with structured and unstructured data using relational and NoSQL databases.

- Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of data pipelines and data infrastructure.

- Ensure adherence to data governance, security, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5 to 10 years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.

- Strong expertise in Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt.

- Hands-on experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT processes.

- Proven experience building scalable data pipelines and modern data warehouse solutions.

- Strong knowledge of PySpark and distributed data processing frameworks.

- Experience working with NoSQL databases and large-scale data ecosystems.

- Understanding of Machine Learning feature engineering and data preparation workflows.

- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and modern data architecture principles.

- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in the Capital Markets or Financial Services domain.

- Exposure to data governance, data quality, and data security frameworks.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Education :

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related discipline.
