Location : Gurugram (Hybrid)

ACCOUNTABILITIES :


- Engineering : Design and Implement technology solutions around data and software engineers. Work closely with Technical Lead from the team to drive technical strategy, ensuring alignment with vision and goals


- Data Marketplace : Evaluate and implement necessary system integrations to drive vision around data-as-product and data discovery for business users.


- sourcing : Partnering with Enterprise teams, drive the needs by creating a collaborative development approach.


- Partner with technical program managers to create backlog of work for team and report on critical initiatives.


- DevOps : Develop effective DevOps practice to improve developer experience and faster time-to-market.


- Champion data governance, DevOps practices, and platform engineering to accelerate time-to-market and improve developer experience.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical use cases and enable self-serve analytics.


- Work closely with data analysts, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical data solutions.


- Monitor data processes and workflows, proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, and troubleshoot data-related issues.


COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS :


- 8+ years of experience in data driven organizations, with a focus on end to end, large scale initiatives.


- Deep technical understanding of data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Starburst Trino, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server (SSMS).


- Workflow orchestration experience using Apache NiFi or similar tools.


- Proficient in solution design and implementation of scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.


- Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.


- Good knowledge of AWS services, including S3, EC2, EKS, and RDS.


- Strong version control and collaboration practices, including Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.


- Functional knowledge of the asset management domain, with understanding of concepts such as positions, transactions, pricing, valuation, and accounting.


- Proficient in using AI assisted development tools, such as GitHub Copilot and Claude Code.


- Demonstrated ability to communicate, negotiate, influence, and manage competing priorities across diverse user groups and stakeholders.


- Strong decision making skills, with an outcome driven mindset and the ability to influence, lead change, and communicate effectively.
