Role Overview :

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of designing and maintaining robust data pipelines that serve as the backbone for our clients' analytical capabilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, product managers, and business stakeholders, to transform raw data into actionable insights. This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of data platforms, directly influencing how our clients utilize their data assets to achieve business objectives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and deploy scalable data pipelines using Apache Airflow to ensure seamless orchestration and automation of complex data workflows.

- Develop and optimize modular data transformation models using dbt to maintain high-quality, consistent data sets across the warehouse.

- Design and implement efficient data warehousing solutions that support high-concurrency analytical queries and reporting requirements.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to refine data architecture, ensuring that the infrastructure meets evolving business demands and performance benchmarks.

- Troubleshoot and resolve data quality issues by implementing rigorous testing frameworks and monitoring systems to maintain data integrity.

- Mentor junior team members by conducting code reviews and promoting best practices in software engineering and data modeling.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing end-to-end data pipelines using Python and SQL within cloud-based environments.

- Proven ability to design complex data models and transformation logic using Data Build Tool (dbt).

- Strong proficiency in workflow orchestration using Apache Airflow, with a focus on building resilient and fault-tolerant systems.

- Deep understanding of modern Data Warehousing principles and the ability to optimize storage and compute costs.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, hybrid work environment based in Bangalore.

- Candidates must possess 6 - 10 years of professional experience in data engineering roles.
