About the Role :
Seeking a Senior Data & AI Architect to define and evolve the target architecture for an enterprise client's Azure-native Data & AI platform. This senior role owns end-to-end design decisions across Microsoft Fabric, Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Foundry, Copilot Studio, and core Azure services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Define the reference architecture, design standards, and target-state roadmap for the enterprise Data & AI platform on Azure.
- Lead architecture design for data products, AI applications, and AI agents, covering model selection, grounding and retrieval patterns, tool integration, orchestration, and lifecycle controls.
- Design integration patterns across Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Dataverse, ERP, CRM, HR and ITSM systems, APIs, and custom Azure services.
- Establish platform-wide guardrails for security, privacy, identity, DLP, observability, resilience, and scalability, aligned with Microsoft Purview governance.
- Advise solution teams on the right technology for each requirement: Fabric, Foundry, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, or custom Azure components.
- Facilitate architecture workshops, design reviews, and decision forums, and record architecture decisions with clear rationale and trade-offs.
- Mentor engineering and product teams and build a library of reusable architecture assets, patterns, and standards.
Tech Stack :
- Data & governance: Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory), Microsoft Purview.
- AI & agents: Microsoft Foundry (models, agents, evaluations, monitoring), Copilot Studio, Azure AI Search, RAG and grounding patterns.
- Integration: Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure API Management, Logic Apps.
- Security & identity: Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Key Vault, private networking, DLP policies.
- Architecture practice: Reference architectures, architecture decision records, Azure Well-Architected Framework.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum 5 - 7+ years of architecture experience in Azure-based enterprise environments.
- Proven ability to define target architectures, reference patterns, and solution standards for complex, multi-system platforms.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600) preferred.
