Senior Data Analyst - Python/SQL

Position : Senior Data Analyst

Job Summary :

Key Responsibilities :

Data Analysis & Insight Generation :

- Perform root cause analysis and hypothesis testing to understand the drivers behind key business metrics.

- Transform raw data into compelling stories and visualizations, presenting insights to stakeholders across product, marketing, and client teams.

Technical Execution & Tooling :

- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

Collaboration & Documentation :

- Maintain a high level of ownership over projects, proactively identifying and solving problems.

- Create and maintain clean, comprehensive documentation and SOPs for analytical processes and methodologies.

Required Skills :

Core Experience :

- 3-6 years of experience in data analytics, with a preference for backgrounds in e-commerce, retail tech, or product-based startups.

- Prior experience in a fast-paced environment with a direct impact on business outcomes.

Technical Proficiency :

- Experience with at least one major BI tool such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Google Data Studio.

- Proven skills in data visualization and telling compelling stories with data.

Analytical Skills :

- A solid understanding of e-commerce metrics and customer funnel behavior.

Preferred Skills :

- Specific exposure to client performance analytics, product analytics, or marketing analytics.

- Familiarity with web analytics tools like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.

- Knowledge of advanced statistical methods or machine learning concepts.

- Experience with cloud data warehouses such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
