Job Description : Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer

We are seeking an experienced and analytical Senior Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to lead the creation and delivery of high-impact data visualization and reporting solutions. This role is crucial for translating complex data into clear, actionable insights that will directly support strategic decision-making across the entire organization.

Experience & Qualifications :

- Education : Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.

- Experience : 5+ years of professional experience in Business Intelligence development and data visualization.

- Core Expertise : Strong proficiency in major BI tools, particularly Tableau and Power BI, and mastery of SQL for complex data extraction and manipulation.

- Data Modeling : Proven experience in designing and implementing robust, scalable data models.

- Technical Familiarity (Preferred) : Familiarity with programming languages like Python, workflow schedulers like Apache Airflow, and experience working with data infrastructure on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Soft Skills : Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (written and verbal).

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

The Senior BI Developer will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery and maintenance of the company's reporting infrastructure :

1. Design and Delivery of BI Solutions :

- Design and deliver impactful BI dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies to meet the needs of various business units (e.g., Finance, Operations, Sales).

- Translate data into actionable insights and present findings clearly to support data-driven decision-making across the organization.

- Build and maintain complex BI solutions, data models, and analytical reports ensuring optimal performance and usability.

2. Data Integrity and Optimization :

- Ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance throughout the reporting lifecycle.

- Validate data sources and reporting logic to guarantee the timely and reliable delivery of insights.

- Support end-users, troubleshoot reporting issues, and optimize existing BI processes and queries for improved efficiency and speed.

3. Collaboration and Data Workflow :

- Collaborate effectively with Data Engineering, Data Science, and business stakeholder teams to improve underlying data workflows, data ingestion, and automation efforts.

- Contribute to the standardization of metrics, visualizations, and reporting best practices across the company.

- Prior experience or understanding of integrating AI/Machine Learning outputs into BI dashboards for predictive analytics and enhanced decision support.

- Experience in building ETL/ELT pipelines using tools like Airflow.
