We are looking for a Senior Backend Python Engineer to design, build, and scale robust backend systems and automation-first solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and asynchronous Python, along with deep knowledge of event-driven architectures and worker-based processing systems.

This role requires a high level of ownership and technical leadership, including system design, architectural decision-making, and managing backend services in cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.

- Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices-based architectures.

- Design and implement asynchronous and event-driven systems using Celery, Redis, and worker queues.

- Develop and optimize database schemas and queries using PostgreSQL.

- Lead backend architecture and system design, ensuring high availability, scalability, and maintainability.

- Build automation-first, low-maintenance solutions using platforms such as Make.com, 0Codekit, and similar tools.

- Take full ownership of backend projects from design to deployment.

- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

- Ensure best practices in security, performance, logging, and monitoring.

- Manage and support AWS infrastructure, deployments, and credentials (where applicable).

Must-Have Qualifications :

- Strong hands-on experience with Python backend development.

- Proven expertise in FastAPI.

- Solid experience with PostgreSQL.

- Experience building asynchronous processing workflows in Python.

- Hands-on knowledge of Celery, Redis, worker queues, and event-driven architectures.

- Strong understanding of microservices architecture and REST APIs.

- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, take ownership, and work independently.

- Strong system design skills, particularly for automation-first and scalable solutions.

- Experience designing low-maintenance automation systems using tools like Make.com, 0Codekit, or similar platforms.

Good-to-Have Qualifications :

- Advanced experience with AWS, including :

1. ECS.

2. Lambda.

- Microservices-based deployments.

- Familiarity with containerization and CI/CD pipelines
